I have relatives over, and I am the only one of the immediate family who gets their own room. my sibling have to share a room while they are over, and my parents do too. No one will share a room with me because i like it pitch dark, i leave all my crap all over the floor, i go to bed late, and i wake up late. and i am likely to lethaly damage anyone who wakes me up if they are within reach.
and no, Gigi and I are NOT lucky that we have siblings. they are usually little brats. really dangerous violent well-armed little brats. maybe that's just my siblings.
