The Odyssey is a realy awful book you have to read in Freshman English. IT SUCKS BUTT. Hmmm. . . there's something I like to see in books. wazzit called again. . . Oh yeah! INTRESTING PLOT. MULTI-FAUCETED CHARACTERS. It's all so obvious now! That's why I hate this book! Because it's sorely lacking in both areas. Odysseus (the main character) is a psycotic narcissist. He shows all the sighn. And Penelope (his wife) has barely stoped crying since the day he left. Pathetic, since he's been gone for twenty years. And she hasn't done anything about all the suitors, and they've been there for four years. In the end, her son Telemakhos ordes her around, and she just goes with it. SLAP HIM, at least!
We are always acting it out, sweeping on and sweeping off. Sweep on, Sweep! Sweep! Sweep is our english teacher's favorite word. I died three times while acting that. Ah well, it was fun. Then we finished, and it had an incredibly anti-climatic ending. Wow.
Gigi/Antinoos, over and out
Post script: Heheheh. I love playing Antinoos. He threatend to rip off Odysseus's "privy parts."

thats one of the books i got james 4 christmas. B4 i gave it to him, i started 2 read it. I agree with u. We get 2 read romeo and jusiet this year. I love that story, and hav probably read it wayy too many times (along with many of shakepeares works for that matter). But i definetly c where ur coming from with thatwhole thing. Tybalt is definetly the most fun character 2b in that story. U get to challenge everyone, and get killed by bonvolio. Or maybe mu=ercutio is the most fun (he gets to rant on for at least a page and a half about a dream fairy). Theyre both fun.
thats supposed 2 say mercutio, i just cant type, and my fingers r spazzing on me.
